MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Friendship Baptist Church is to fulfill the “Great Commandment” (Matthew 28:19-20), "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." Amen.

We are committed to moving the many to Church Membership, through Membership to Maturity, from Maturity to Ministry, and from Ministry to Missions, that others might be saved. Gods Plan...Our Mission:

Worship and Praise
We regularly gather to worship and praise God our Father through prayer, praise, songs, and the preached word.

Service and Outreach
We serve and meet the needs of our Church and local communities through various church programs, ministries and outreach services.

Evangelism
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to men and women of all nations.

Teaching/Education/Discipleship
We actively pursue God’s Word and Will through the Holy Scriptures, that every Saint will be thoroughly equipped to do every good work. The education and teaching arm of the Church includes, but is not limited to, Sunday School, Bible Study, and workshops provided by Friendship Baptist Church and the Central Hudson Baptist Association of the Empire Baptist Missionary Convention.
